The FSG outlines the services we offer, how we are remunerated, how we handle complaints, and the documents you will receive when we provide advice. You will receive this before any advice is given.

Provided on request

Statement of Advice (SOA)

When we provide you with personal financial advice, we will issue a Statement of Advice setting out our recommendations, the basis for those recommendations, and the fees payable. You have 28 days to consider the SOA.

Record of Advice (ROA)

When providing further advice after an initial SOA, where your circumstances have not materially changed, we may issue a shorter Record of Advice summarising our updated recommendations.

For subsequent advice

Product Disclosure Statement (PDS)

Where we recommend a financial product (such as a managed fund, insurance policy, or superannuation product), we will provide you with the relevant Product Disclosure Statement from the product issuer.

What We Are Required to Do — and Why We Embrace It

As a licensed financial services provider, Intellect Wealth Pty Ltd operates under the Corporations Act 2001 and is supervised by ASIC. Our obligations include acting efficiently, honestly, and fairly in all dealings with clients.

We are required to hold adequate professional indemnity insurance, maintain a complaints handling process, and provide clients with access to external dispute resolution through the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA).

These are not burdens — they are the framework that ensures you can trust the advice you receive.

01
Best Interests Duty
We must act in your best interests when providing personal advice. Our recommendations must be appropriate for your circumstances.
02
Fee Disclosure
We are required to clearly disclose all fees, commissions, and any conflicts of interest before providing advice.
03
Ongoing Consent
For ongoing advice services, we must obtain your consent annually and confirm you wish to continue the arrangement.
04
Dispute Resolution
If you are unhappy with our service, you have access to our internal complaints process and AFCA as an external dispute body.
